There’s a whole lot more toShining Girls, and while not all of it makes perfect sense, it’s still a thrilling and engrossing mystery.

Little Americais an anthology series that explores immigrant stories in America, choosing to focus on the funny, heartfelt, and romantic sides of these stories rather than the more dire aspects. Every episode of the series focuses on a different story about people from around the world.

The show is empathetic and heartfelt, but never feels overly schmaltzy.Little Americais thoughtful and makes these stories relatable. These aren’t people with lives completely different from those with American citizenship. Their lives are strikingly similar in ways many of us may not have even considered.

InThe Big Door Prize, based on M. O. Walsh’s book of the same name, a machine suddenly appears in the general store of Deerfield, a sleepy town where people aren’t exactly ambitious. The mysterious and magical machine reveals the “Life Potential” of anyone who wants to know.

It’s a cozy and very funny show that ponders some big questions with a grounded sensibility.

Suddenly, with knowledge of what it is they’re capable of accomplishing,the people of Deerfield become obsessed with either pursuing their potential or coming to terms with the low potential they’ve been saddled with. It’s a cozy and very funny show that ponders some big questions with a grounded sensibility.

The musical animated sitcomCentral Parkis animated in a similar style tothe acclaimed animated TV show,Bob’s Burgers, and has a somewhat similar sensibility. The show follows the Tillerman–Hunter family, who live in the fictional Edendale Castle in New York City’s Central Park.

It’s an incredibly warm and witty series that is as much an ode to New York City as it is to musicals in general. The main concern of the show is the family, and it’s very effective at showing the struggles of a group of people who love one another but don’t always love themselves.

Apple TV+‘sSeehas recently seen a viewing surge, coming well after the science fiction, post-apocalyptic series aired. The show is set hundreds of years after the 21st Century, when a disease knocked out most of the population, leaving the survivors blinded and forced to develop a new society.

It’s a sincere and hilarious examination of the video game industry, and McElhenney as the creative director Ian Grimm, is always very funny.The show only gets better as the seasons go on, with the writing getting sharper and tighter, and the storyline finding a meaningful and interesting lane.
