1000-Lb Sistersseason 7 starAmanda Haltermanis known for being hot-headed, and her recent social media exchange is just the latest example. The unscripted show centers around the weight-loss journeys of Amy Slaton and Tammy Slaton, but several of their other siblings have gone on their own journeys, including 44-year-old Amanda. All the Slatons are known to be loud and opinionated, but Amanda often takes the cake. Never one to back down from a fight, Amanda has found herself in plenty of battles with her siblings. She’s also been known to fight on social media.

Amanda didn’t appear in the first few seasons of the unscripted show because she was going through a divorce from Jason Halterman at the time. The mother of four had been unhappy in her marriage for a long time, but she decided to wait until her sons were all adults before ending her marriage. Once she appeared on the show, she became an instant fan favorite. By the time1000-lb Sistersseason 7premiered in 2025, Amanda had earned more screen than in past seasons. Amanda’s fighting spirit is definitely one of the reasons she’s so entertaining.

Amanda’s Family Feuds

While Amanda isn’t opposed to fighting strangers online, she reserves most of her firepower for her siblings. Being a close-knit family is great, but it also comes with downsides.
