By providing a list of one-and-done miniseries as well as a few trial seasons of the streamer’s biggest shows – including some with new installments currently in development – there’s something available for everyone, whether you’re a fan of comedies, period dramas, cozy crime, or thrillers.

Blue LightsandSherwoodare both returning for season 3.Silent Witnessis currently developing a whopping 29th season.Father Brownand the show’s even more charming spinoff,Sister Boniface Mysteries, are returning for seasons 13 and 4, respectively (Sister Boniface Mysteriesseason 4 will premiere on BritBox this month).
It’s also interesting that BritBox has includedThe Inspector Lynley Mysteries. Based on the books by Elizabeth George, a new remake of the series titledLynleywill premiere on BritBox on September 4, starring Leo Suter and Sofia Barclay. The original show was excellent, and it’ll be exciting to see how they’ve adapted the story for today’s audiences.
