It includes various new features, includingthe ability to play as a fairy, and a whole host of new options for organic living.
Although it didn’t strictly introduce the feature,Enchanted by Naturehas many players dealing with the whims of gnomes- it’s all about planting and gardening, after all. Meeting Your Gnomes' Gneeds
Again,gnomes have been around inThe Sims 4since long beforeEnchanted by Nature- they were added as part of the Harvestfest eventin theSeasonsexpansion. But as more players are participating in planting and harvesting since the latest expansion pack, they’ve become a much bigger factor.
During Harvestfest, you can place a series of gnomes around your lot via the holiday decorations tab in Build Mode. You can then give them a gift of your choice in hopes of appeasing them. If it works, they’ll give you a pack of seeds; if not, they may even attack you.
A single gnome isn’t likely to kill your Sims, but a small group can be deadly.
Most gnomes are predictableand will always be appeased when given a certain gift - see the chart above. There are, of course, some exceptions. Certain gnomes have seemingly random reactions, no matter what gift you give them. Trailboss Gnomes, Gnome Sculptures, and Gnome-Shaped Gemstones can’t be appeased at all.
Enchanted by Naturedoes introduce a new gnome type, the Great Gnome, whose desires do work a little differently. If you give them a coffee or a pie, there’s a random chance of appeasement - although coffee has a higher chance of working during the day, and pie has a higher chance at night. A toy will always succeed in appeasing them, but always rewards a single acorn, while coffee and pie have a chance to grant you rarer items like Aura Petals and Fairy Dust.
