Non-Stop Tension For All Characters In An Oppressed Galaxy
Jumping between multiple settings and characters, the pacing and storytelling on display inAndorseason 2’s premiere is truly a master class and quite impressive to behold. Likewise, the ongoing struggle to defy a regime as massive and oppressive as the Galactic Empire continues into this new season in ways that will be incredible to watch unfold, both on the individual level for specific characters and as a collective galaxy.
As many fans have already noted, it’s not hard at all to seeAndorseason 2’s real-world similarities to ongoing controversies and concerns about growing levels of fascism. Also, there’s something to be said that many of these unflinching parallels aren’t entirely the fault of the show itself, as some are just brutal coincidences. One can easily argue that in many ways, real life has simply caught up to the messages, warnings, and themes that first began with George Lucas nearly 50 years ago.It’s going to be fascinating to see whereAndorseason 2 goes next as the Rebellion struggles to come to fruition.
