ControversialTikTokstar Andrew Tate has reportedly sent out an email to some of his fans describing the conditions of the Romanian jail where he is imprisoned, marking the first time he has communicated with fans since his arrest for allegedly abducting two women. His arrest followed an online dispute with activist Greta Thunberg which quickly went viral. This led many to believe that theraid on the home of Andrew Tatewas due to a video he posted in response to Greta that contained a pizza box which revealed his location to authorities. Romanian authorities denied the pizza box theory, saying that Andrew Tate and his brother had been under investigation for some time.

Tate has amassed a following by promoting an ultra-lavish, ultra-masculine lifestyle and espousing misogynistic, sexist beliefs. The sexist rhetoric has led toTate being banned from Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok social media platforms. Tate has also been denounced by fellow Twitch streamers for his beliefs. He was also banned from Twitter for a divisive and inflammatory tweet but has since reappeared on the platform following a mass unbanning.

Youtuber Fesify has posted a video that unpacks the email in which Tate describes the conditions of his prison cell, claiming that it is infested with lice, bed bugs, and cockroaches. Tate also talks about his prison guards, saying that they know he is innocent. He then describes how he remains absolutely respectful towards them, telling his fans how important it is to remain respectful at all times. The embattledTikTokpersonality concluded the email by thanking fans for sticking with him.

Prosecutors are working hard to uncover the truth behind the allegations of rape and human trafficking against Tate. TheTikTokstar supposedly lured victims through pretenses of love and subsequently intimidated and coerced them into engaging in sexual acts online from which Tate allegedly derived significant financial gain. The collection ofluxury vehicles belonging to Tate was seizedby Romanian authorities, presumably due to the possibility that they were bought using the proceeds of illegal activities.
