The latest update forAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camphas arrived, and players will finally be able to discover what the the new gardens have in store for them, as their camp sites get a much-needed expansion. Logging ontoPocket Campafter downloading the update will allowAnimal Crossingfans to access a small new area to the left of their camping grounds, with new items and content waiting to be uncovered.

Although the garden update was teased for a January release, Nintendo has seen fit to release the new content a little early, allowingAnimal Crossing: Pocket Campusers to get a head start in cultivating their gardens. The new area features returning character Lloid who assists the player in running their fields, and will offer a tutorial to those entering their garden for the first time.

The update allows players to grow all manner of flowers and trade in their horticultural collections for items including potted plants, floral furniture, or new variations of clothing. With clothes crafting still expected in an upcoming update, this is the currently the closest fans can get to creating their very own wearable items.

Planting seeds will require players to wait a minimum of three hours before the flowers are grown, though this can of course be sped up by spendinga few Leaf Tokensor by using flower food. Players can also visit their friends' camp sites in order to water the gardens and receive a small gift for doing so.

Nintendo has also added a new feature toAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp, allowing users to take a screenshot from inside their camper or at their own camp sites, sharing the image directly to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Since the newAnimal Crossingtitle reportedly had abigger launch thanPokemon GO, social media is set to be flooded with players looking to show off their decorating skills in the coming weeks.
