Not long ago,Anthemhopefuls received somenew story informationin its Game Awards 2018 trailer. This included lore on the Anthem, details about the companions, information on various factions such as the Sentinels, and a brief overview of the primary antagonist. This time around, developer BioWare is giving players a glimpse at the Legion of Dawn faction, which is what inspired the Legion of Dawn edition of the game.

In this new trailer, a voiceover describes the actions of General Helena Tarsis and how the Legion of Dawn protects those who cannot protect themselves in the honor of her legacy. It also stands to reason thatAnthem’s in-game hub world, Fort Tarsis, is named after this founder of the Legion of Dawn. Check out the new trailer below:

The trailer also showcases some of the bonuses that come with the pre-ordering or having the Legion of Dawn edition of the game. This includes Legion of Dawn armor packs forAnthem’s four javelins, the Light of the Legion weapon, and access to the VIP demo if this edition of the game is pre-ordered.

Speaking of the upcoming demos, the dates forAnthem’sVIP and open demo dates were revealedrecently. In lieu of a traditional beta, this demo will give players access to the game at different periods. The VIP demo, for example, occurs earlier than the open demo, but both occur just a month prior to the launch of Anthem (perhaps why it is not considered a beta).

Taking all of this into consideration, it seems likely thatAnthemwill be a successful IP for BioWare. This not only stems from how confident BioWare appears to be concerning the demo, but also how protective and enforcing it was with the NDA policy inAnthem’s Alpha Test, with one streamer losinghis entire Origin library for breaking the NDA.

Anthemis set to release on August 14, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
