World’s Edge is difficult to describe at first glance. It’s a much more alien landscape than is typical for battle royale games, even includingKings Canyonand it’s lumbering giant alien animals. It features locations including a large magma field, a geyser area, and what looks to be a space elevator. There are also what appear to be rigs of some sort to pump something out of the earth. One such rig is encased in blue crystal, as if something went terribly wrong. Also, there appears to be a moving train on the map.
The majority of the trailer focuses on the individual legends, the characters, ofApex Legends.New character Cryptogets a lot of attention, but Mirage gets a surprising amount of screentime, too.
Season 3, which goes by the subtitle of Meltdown, will be starting on October 1.Apex Legendsplayers will have a few more days to make the best ofSeason 2and what may be the final run for Kings Canyon.
