Summary

TheAssassin’s Creedfranchise has always had an iconic sense of style. Present right from the very beginning, the traditional white, hooded Assassin robe is still one of the most iconic outfits in all of gaming, and practically every iteration of it is perfect in its own way, fromAltair’s simple robeto Ezio’s more flamboyant cape and shirt combo to Edward Kenway’s absurd number of pistol belts.Assassin’s CreedMirageis absolutely no exception to the rule, bringing another more traditional take on the classic Assassin robe.

Plastered across all ofAssassin’s Creed Mirage’s marketing and front cover, Basim’s standard initiate Assassin robe takes that classic, simplified white, hooded robe, and gives it a unique Arabian twist. But whileAssassin’s Creed Mirage’s starting outfit is a great one, it isn’t the only one in the game. Taking inspiration from its RPG predecessors, but pairing it back significantly,Assassin’s Creed Miragegives players six different armor sets to unlock - or seven withthe Deluxe Edition content- and most of those sets are pretty great.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Zanj Uprising Outfit Explained

Named after the real-world Zanj Rebellion, which Basim helps start duringAssassin’s Creed Mirage’s main story, this Zanj Uprising outfit is undoubtedly one of the best in the entire game. Found in the first Gear Chest players open in the Khuld District, the Zanj Uprising outfit hearkens back toAssassin’s Creed Origins' Bayek, with a similar desert-ready look. The Zanj Uprising outfit also comes with a perk that reduces the impact of all illegal activities on Basim’s notoriety.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Hidden One Outfit Explained

Likely one of the later armor sets players will unlock,Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Hidden One outfit can be found in any of the game’s Round City Gear Chests. Though its perk isn’t all that useful - only refilling Basim’s Focus meter by an extra few percent per stealth kill - it is one of the best-looking armors inAssassin’s Creed Mirage. With some intimidating armor plates around the neck and some hefty-looking gauntlets, the Hidden One outfit gives Basim a suitably imposing demeanor, one that few other outfits can give.

By far the most unique outfit inAssassin’s Creed Mirage, the Milad armor set takes a bit more effort to find and unlock. Found during the Nehal’s Calling questline, players use their collected mysterious shards to unlock the Milad outfit underneath an oasis found in the north ofAssassin’s Creed Mirage’s map. Clearly based on the ancient technologically advanced Isu civilization that lived 70,000 years before the start of theAssassin’s Creedtimeline, the Milad outfit has a futuristic cyberpunk look to it. Though it isn’t very in-keeping with the rest of the game’s historically-accurate setting and feel,Mirage’s Milad outfit is still one of the coolest in the whole game.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Legacy Costumes Explained

On top of its six armor sets,Assassin’s Creed Miragealso has a handful of costumes. These costumes don’t have any perks of their own, but instead function as a skin that goes over the top of the game’s armor sets. Towardthe end ofAssassin’s Creed Mirage, players will unlock the Master Assassin costume for Basim, which is suitably cool. But by far the most popular costumes areAssassin’s Creed Mirage’s legacy outfits, all giving Basim the various looks of the iconic protagonists that have come before him, albeit not chronologically. Using Ubisoft Connect, players can unlock Altair’s original outfit, Ezio’sRevelationscostume, and Basim’sValhallacostume.
