The long-runningAtelierfranchise has carved out its own niche in the crowded RPG market. The series makes its mark by pairing cute anime girls with deep crafting mechanics, and over the years has featured character designs by well-known manga artists and illustrators. The latest game in the franchise,Atelier Ryza 2, was recently released to favorable reviews. Now, publisher Koei Tecmo revealed a trio of games in the franchise are re-releasing in one package.

TheAteliergames generally feature wholesome character designs, but on occasion there is some pandering to fans in the form of a hot springs scene or something similar.Atelier Ryza 2’s producer talked about censorshipof theAteliergames, taking the stance that cultural norms are different around the world, and perhaps in some cases, censorship is necessary. The games typically do not go too far, but toning down some moments might be necessary.

These considerations were likely made for the upcomingAtelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack, coming out on April 22, which features the adventures ofAtelier Sophie,Lydie & Suelle, andFiris. This is something thatKoei Tecmohas done previously with entries in the franchise, which fall into loosely connected storylines. TheAtelier Arlandtrilogy and theAtelier Dusktrilogy both saw deluxe packs, and with theMysteriousstoryline wrapped up, it is now receiving the same treatment. Included in this deluxe pack will be DLC content as well as new story scenes inAtelier Sophie.

This is a great opportunity to pick up three entries in the franchise in the same place. While theAtelierseries is fairly niche, and likely won’tdominate sales charts like Koei Tecmo’sHyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, fans should be excited for this release.

Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Packwill be available April 22 on PC, PS4, and Switch.
