One tombstone near the Durinbold Mausoleum marks the resting place of “Mighty Branwen” protected by “The Foehammer.” This easy-to-miss grave belongs to a companion from the originalBaldur’s Gategame. Branwen, a cleric of Tempus the Foehammer, was turned into stone by an evil mage and displayed as a carnival attraction. Should players free her, she would join the party as a companion.

Another grave, this one near the Grand Mausoleum, belongs to Eldoth, a bard who could also join the party inBaldur’s Gate.Eldoth was a sleazy fellow with few morals. Another companion, duke’s daughter Skie Silvershield, was in love with him, but he used her for her money and did not have genuine feelings.
