Yesterday, EA and DICE officially lifted the lid onBattlefield V. With anexplosive reveal trailer, fans of the first-person shooter franchise got a glimpse at the game’s bombastic multiplayer action full of vehicles, nail-biting shootouts, and opportunities to fight alongside friends and strangers on the virtual battlefield. People are eager to get their hands on the game, and thankfully, there will be a way to play the title a little earlier than expected.

EA has also detailed theBattlefield Vpre-order bonuses. The publisher says that anyone who pre-orders the game (either the standard or deluxe edition) will get the Enlister Offer which includes access to one of eight Special Soldier Sets (soldier customization sets), access to Special Assignments during launch week, and immediate access to five weapons to use inBattlefield 1. To celebrate theBattlefield Vannouncement, EA has already offered up some bonuses toBattlefield 1players this week by making theIn the Name of the TsarDLC expansionfree, so those weapon unlocks will only sweeten the pot.

Battlefield V pay to win

Pre-ordering also grants people early access to theBattlefield Vopen beta. Dates for the open beta have yet to be announced, but the tests could be a good way to stress test the game’s servers ahead of launch. TheBattlefield 1player base doubledthat ofBattlefield 4at launch, and ifBattlefield V’s player base increases in a similar fashion, the game’s servers may be unable to cope. No one wants to be faced with huge lag or server downtime right when they want to play.

It is worth noting that there are a few pre-order offers for the game at different retailers. For example, electronics retailer Best Buy is offering $10 rewards eligibility to those who pre-order either the deluxe or standard edition of the game. More pre-order savings could be available in the run-up to release, so fans are encouraged to shop around.

Battlefield Vwill be released on June 23, 2025, on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
