Big Brother27’s second week of competition started off strong with one houseguest winning HOH, whilethree other secured powers that will be able to help them later in the game. AsBig Brother27has gotten underway, the gameplay has been fierce throughout the early weeks of the summer. After learning thatBBwinner Rachel Rielly would enter the house, everything’s been chaotic.

As the houseguests got the instructions to compete for the second Head of Household of the summer,it was revealed thatBig BrotherMastermind released a trio of powers into the game. With all the houseguests, includinglast week’s HOH Vince Panaro, eligible to play for the powers, it was clear that they would be game-changing for the houseguests.

Each power was hidden along with the HOH key in a blackout room, masked to appear like a sewer system. The houseguests had to move through the dark to uncover the hidden pieces and then return them to the starting point, which proved more difficult than any of them anticipated. As they competed, three houseguests grabbed powers, along with Jimmy Heagerty securing the HOH key.

Kelley Jorgensen Won A Second Chance Veto

She Can Compete For The POV Twice

During the competition, Kelley Jorgensen appeared to be going for the HOH key in hopes she’d be able to keep herself safe once again. After being on the block for the first week, Kelley won the firstBig BrotherBlockbuster of the summer, saving herself from the eviction vote that may have sent her packing.Securing a power instead, Kelley was thrilled.

Kelley’s power allows her to play in a secondary Power Of Veto competitionafter the first has taken place. Should she win the competition, Kelley will have a secondary veto that allows her to take herself or someone else off the block. The HOH would then nominate a secondary nominee in Kelley’s place, meaning the HOH could have to re-nominate two new houseguests.

Keanu Soto Won The Chance To Invoke Mystery Houseguest

A Secondary Veto Player Would Compete On His Behalf

Keanu Soto, who wasn’t on the nomination blocklast week but ruffled feathers with his behavior throughout, won a power that allows him to double his chances at winning the Power Of Veto. Should Keanu want to invoke his power, he would do so before the Veto competition and invite a mystery houseguest into the game to play in the Veto.

That mystery houseguest, who is likely a competitive threat from earlier seasons ofBig Brother, would play in the game alongside the HOH, three nominees, and one other houseguest chosen by random draw.Should the mystery houseguest win the veto, they’d give it to Keanuto use on himself or someone else sitting on the nomination block that week.

Mickey Lee Won An HOH Takeover

She Can Take Over An HOH If She Remains Discrete

Mickey Lee, who’s been lying lowthroughout her time onBig Brotherso far, won the third power, which is called the HOH Interrogation.Mickey’s power allows her to take over any HOH up until the jury phase of the competition begins, but puts a major twist on her capabilities. Once Mickey invokes her power, the current HOH will be allowed to interrogate the houseguests.

If Mickey is discovered, she’ll be revealed to the house and her power - which includes changing the nominees for eviction - is null and void.If Mickey isn’t discovered after the interrogation, however, she remains in powerand announces herself to the house, taking over the HOH fully. TheBig BrotherMastermind released some epic powers, hopefully shaking up the game.
