BioWare is actively searching for a Live Service Executive Producer for its upcoming titleAnthem, and the position details reveal that BioWare plans on keepingAnthemaround for years after launch.
The main job in the listing is to “ensure that the game design, systems, and economies of our games are built to maintain player engagement and our business for years of successful live game service,” which could include designing new events to keep players engaged, and planning new content to hook players in long-term. The listing is possibly referring to thesupposed 10-year planthat EA has in store forAnthem.
The job posting appeared on EA’s career opportunities page last week and detailed plans about content for the upcoming sci-fi RPG. This seems to confirm the comments aboutAnthemhaving a 10-year plan, and furthered the comparison betweenAnthemandDestiny.

Anthemmade its debut at E3 2017, where BioWare showed off a trailer and some gameplay footage for the upcoming title. Since then, some details have trickled out from BioWare about what players can expect from the game.
Anthemis set to feature four player co-op, dynamic adventures, andsupposedly even loot boxes. The graphically stunning world that BioWare is building is shared online, much like howDestinyis, though the extent of the shared world has yet to be announced.
Players will take on the role of Freelancers, who protect their city with powerful customizable exosuits called Javelins, which serve class archetypes. Two classes of Javelins have been shown off so far. There’s the Ranger, which is well-rounded and flexible, as well as the Colossus which is well-armored and sturdier by comparison.
Not much is set in stone forAnthemyet, but hopes are high. Many are hoping thatAnthemwill be a huge success, and will fill the role of thatDestiny 2so far has not done. With all thetroublesDestiny 2has had latelywith their live events, hopefullyAnthemwill not follow the same path.
Anthemis set to launch in Fall 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
