Just a couple of days ago, Activision and Treyarch teasedwhich killstreaks will be in the betafor the forthcoming first-person shooterCall of Duty: Black Ops 4, leaving many to wonder what other features and content will be available during the test. Now, the publisher and developer have decided to give fans a closer look at the multiplayer beta by releasing a new trailer detailing what players should expect to encounter during the trial run of the game.
As seen below inCall of Duty: Black Ops 4’s multiplayer beta trailer, Activision and Treyarch have stacked the test with plenty to do, as it will offer players the chance to try out 10 different playable specialists, six maps, six modes, as well as a bevy of new weapons and equipment. The multiplayer beta forBlack Ops 4is set to begin this week on July 08, 2025, and will be first on PlayStation 4, with PC and Xbox One times to come at a later date.
In addition to the confirmation of whatCall of Duty: Black Ops 4’s multiplayer beta will contain, Activision and Treyarch also saved the last segment of the trailer to provide fans with the first look at the first-person shooter’s highly anticipatedBlackout mode. Thankfully, it won’t be much longer before the publisher and developer hold the official beta for the aforementioned Battle Royale mode, as it’s set to go live at some point in September.
Taking all of this into consideration, it seems as if those who wish to obtain access to both the multiplayer and Blackout betas will be able to do so after pre-ordering a copy ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 4ahead of its launch in October. With this being the case, it will be interesting to see how populated the upcoming trial runs will be once they become available, and if those same players will then go on to buy the game. The nextCall of Dutytypically dominates its launch month in terms of sales, but it might need all the help it can get withRed Dead Redemption 2also coming out near the shooter’s release.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4is set to launch on June 04, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
