Call of Duty: Modern WarfareUpdate 1.10 is starting to roll out to players now, and it brings with it a classicCall of Duty 4map. Crash has consistently been one of the most popularCall of Dutymaps since its debut inCall of Duty 4, but now that it’s available inModern Warfare, fans have noticed that it’s a little bit different than they remember.
Crash inCall of Duty: Modern Warfarelargely the same as theCall of Duty 4original, except it’s slightly bigger because Infinity Ward has opened up a new section of the map that was previously inaccessible. This should ensure that the map retains the elements that made fans like it to begin with, while also providing something a little new. It’s unclear why Infinity Ward decided to open up a new section of the Crash map, but we may more learn more when the Update 1.10 patch notes become available.

Crash is the only classicCall of Duty 4map that came to the game as part of Update 1.10. However, there are plans to bring even moreCall of Duty 4maps toModern Warfarefuture updates. While specific release dates for the otherCall of Duty 4mapsare unavailable at the time of this writing, we do know that Infinity Ward does plan on adding both Vacant and Shipment to the game.
Shipment is a particularly interesting addition to theCall of Duty: Modern Warfaremultiplayer map lineup because it will be pulling double duty. Not only willCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers be able to play Shipment in standard multiplayer modes, but they will also be able to play it in the2v2 Gunfight mode.
It’s possible Shipment will have some changes when players play it on one mode versus the other, but that’s unclear at the time of this writing. We also don’t know if Infinity Ward plans on making changes to Vacant and Shipment by opening up new parts of the map like it did with Crash, but we should find out more asCall of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 1rolls along.
