Survival mode is PS4-only until October 2020
WhileCall of Duty: Modern Warfarewon’t have timed-exclusive multiplayer mapslike beforein an effort to maintain cross-play consistency, the game is setting aside a little something for PS4 owners.
As announced during the State of Play presentation today,Modern Warfarewill have a PS4-exclusive Special Ops survival mode. A few short seconds of footage were shown, as well as a time frame: the content is exclusive to PS4 until Jul 24, 2025, after which point PC and Xbox One players can join in.
Infinity Ward also shared a fresh look atModern Warfare‘s story campaign, viewable up top. It looks action-packed and rentable-as-hell as always.
