What This Means For CBS

New Shows Struggle On The Network

Poppa’s House’s failure to stay on airhighlights the difficulties CBS is having as of late.Production costs pretty directly pit the network’s comedy shows against each other and not all were able to cut. As such, it will be interesting to see how the network adapts, and whether they slow down the production of new shows to spend time on existing ones or pivot strategies in some other major way. Either way, it is a really hard environment for new series, andPoppa’s Houseunfortunately felt the negative effects of this hardship.
