There are six Hidden Gems that players can find in Red Peaks that contain unique loot and even potentially legendary items. These tend to be dead bodies or containers that aren’t marked on any map - even the official strategy guide gets some of them wrong! Fortunately, we hunted down each one to help players have a chance to get the goodies they all contain.
NOTE:It’s unfortunate but the game isone of the buggiest messesout on the market currently. A particularly annoying bug for those hunting down Hidden Gems is how they sometimes refuse to spawn. Sometimes players can circumvent this by leaving the area and waiting for a full day of in-game time before coming back, but this doesn’t always work so be prepared for possible disappointment. Also, as none of these Hidden Gems have names, we will simply be listing them in the order they appear in this article.
6Hidden Gem 1
There is a cave hidden offroad just southwest ofthe Assault in Progresswhere players need to loot a chest beneath a tree and just northeast of Rocky Ridge. We recommend bringing a car to drive as this cave is a long walk for someone withouta fast automobileto carry them along.
It’s a dark cave with lots of obstacles along the way, but players can find the loot they seek if they make it almost all the way to the back. It’s located inside an open blue shipping container. There is a legendary item here making this Hidden Gem especially worth checking out.
5Hidden Gem 2
Players should fast travel to the Trailer Park as it’s the closest place to this Hidden Gem. In fact, it’s so close that it’s almost impossible to miss once V arrives. No seriously, it’s basically right at the fast travel point!

Players simply have to turn around and walk forward a few seconds to see the two bodies strewn across the ground next to a motorcycle that looks like they crashed while riding it. Loot all the items and this one is complete.
4Hidden Gem 3
This hidden gem is by the Sunset Hotel so players should fast travel there to get started. From there, players should get into their car on the road and make it face the silhouetteof Night City. Players will drive a short distance before seeing piles of random garbage to the left of the road. Players should head straight towards the trash where they can find a body in a refrigerator that has some awesome loot.
3Hidden Gem 4
This Hidden Gem is also bythe Sunset Motelso players should head there to start their hunt for this Hidden Gem. Players need to head directly behind the hotel before turning left and walking a short distance while keeping the mudding water to V’s right.

V needs to find two dead bodies floating in the muddy water surrounded by bottles. They’re next to an abandoned truck making them easy to spot. Collect the loot and continue on the way to finding more!
2Hidden Gem 5
Players looking to get the loot from this Hidden Gem will find it easiest if they start by the same trash piles Hidden Gem 3 was in. Players should turn to face the power pylons and begin driving forward. Players need to go slightly past the first pylon then go offroading into the desert.
There’s a faint dirt road players can find which leads them to all the loot, includinga cool melee weapon, that they can pick up. Make sure to not miss the small blue package as it’s the main part of this Hidden Gem to pick up in the area.
1Hidden Gem 6
Players should return to the main road after getting Hidden Gem 5 to continue their hunt for the last load of loot in the area. Players should continue to go straight, keeping to the right as they pass the gas station nearby. Just past the closest pylon to that gas station, players should get out of their car and start heading left.
There is a ton of rubble in the area and players will need to jump over it all while navigating towards the blue storage container pinned down under a red and yellow piece of metal. The container requiresa massive body skillof thirteen to open the door with force. Once players get inside, they can collect the loot and have cleared the area of Hidden Gems.
