Every cyberdeck has a set amount of base RAM.This is indicated by the blue number to the right of the yellow cyberware requirements.Better and higher-tier cyberdecks will have more RAM. Visit Ripperdocs regularly as V’s street cred levels up. This will unlock more cyberdecks for purchase. Players can also use components to upgrade cyberdecks to higher tiers.
Ram Upgrade Cyberware
The RAM upgrade is a piece of cyberwarethat fits into the frontal cortex slot.This cyberware increases the RAM recovery rate and adds to V’s max RAM.Higher-tier RAM upgrades will have stronger effects. Most Frontal Cortex cyberware will increase or decrease RAM, so focus on this slot when making a Netrunner build. Keep an eye out for any cyberware that is Intelligence Attuned as they may also give V more RAM.
Intelligence
Intelligence is the main attribute players will want to invest in if they are focusing on hacking.Every four points put into intelligence will give players +1 RAM.
Netrunner Skill
There are multiple skill levels that can be progressed by using certain weapons and abilities.Raising the Netrunner skill to Level 10 and then 30 will give players +2 RAM.This skill will level up as players use quick hacks and breach protocol on terminals.
Perks
There are multiple perks that affect RAMin the Intelligence tree.Stick to the left path for +1 RAM from the Hack Queue and Queue Acceleration perks.The middle path leads to the Overclocked perk for serious Netrunning. This perk allows players to continue hacking with no RAM by sacrificing health for each hack.
Ram Jolt
RAM Joltis a consumable itemthat gives players a temporary RAM boost.These boosters are rare loot and can be purchased at medpoint vendors throughout Night City.RAM Jolt lasts a long time and can be useful in many situations.
