While CD Projekt Red’sCyberpunk 2077may have a lot of bugs andfunny glitches in-game, the community has attempted to correct a number of issues or improving other aspects by creating mods. Now, thanks to a fan named “Salmo” who created aBorderlandsvisual graphics mod, Night City feels like it’s now set on the chaotic planet of Pandora. The short clip of the mod shows how thegameplay would look like with theBorderlandsfilter turned on. Only players who have installed the mod can see the filter on cutscenes since the YouTube video clip only shows the gameplay.
Cyberpunk 2077’sgunplay, leveling progression, character abilities, and being outnumbered by the enemies really make itself feel like theBorderlandshad an extended universe. The filter itself makes the futuristic guns give off a familiar feeling to fans of theBorderlandsseries, especially having those thick outlines. The filter makes it seem likeBorderlandsup close with its simplicity of cel-shaded textures, but the details in the distance starts to fall off. Players can install the visual graphics mod ofBorderlandsforCyberpunk 2077from the NexusMods website.

Cyberpunk 2077has its fair share of bugs and glitches all over the game, and on occasion, mods are no exception. One specific mod that went wrong madeNPCs explode in Cyberpunk 2077, making the experience a little different from the usual gameplay. The mod itself doesn’t have a trigger to make NPCs explode, any unlucky NPC will just randomly explode or become a red puddle. The creator of this mod, Wil “Wilburgur” Ramsay, says that he had no obvious goal for the mod, with the exploding of NPCs being a happy accident.
Cyberpunk 2077is a first-person game, but with the power of mods, players are able to enjoy the game in third-person with theCyberpunk 2077Third-person Modgiving off a new way to play the game making the game feel similar to titles such asThe Witcherseries. This third-person mod has four different camera angles that players can choose from with a press of a button. FOr those interested, the third person mod comes from Jelle Bekkar who uploaded the mod over at NexusMods.
Mods have always been the life support of other games by adding in additional features and content, providing quality changes into games. Despite all the bugs and glitches, the modding community can make their own patches for games, just like howBorderlands 2gets unofficial community patches that add content to the game. Hopefully, theupcoming freeCyberpunk 2077DLCwill patch out the problems within the game.
Cyberpunk 2077is available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions in development
