Warning: Contains spoilers for Dandadan.Dandadanis back with its second season, and it’s better than ever for it. Simply havingDandadanback is great in and of itself, but the animation and writing already seem to be a perfect evolution of everything season 1 built, and that’s bound to make it an even better watch, going forward.
Dandadanseason 2 is going to be a great one to watch, and that, of course, begs the question of where season 2 will end. Season 2 will reportedly only be as long as season 1, and with promotional material almost exclusively highlighting the Evil Eye arc, it’s been hard to make an exact guess of season 2’s full story. Fortunately,Dandadanmight have already revealed where season 2 will end through a clever Easter egg, and if it means what it means, then season 3 will be well worth the wait.
How Dandadan Season 2 Already Sets Up Its Final Story
The Biggest Spoilers In Dandadan Season 2 Explained
For anyone who’s seen the season 2 premiere, it will be clear thatDandadan’s new theme songsput a lot of focus on a new character who has yet to appear in the show or any marketing. Manga readers, however, will know that the character is Kinta Sakata, someone who joins the main cast later on in the story, so that should mean season 2 will end after his formal introduction into the series.
That idea especially makes sense when looking at how much of the manga is being adapted. Season 1 adapted a little more than four volumes, and Kinta’s introductory arc starts in volume #8 and ends at the beginning of volume #9, so if season 2 is the same length as season 1, that would be an ideal stopping point. As season 2 continues, its pacing will gradually give a better idea of where the story will go, but ideally, it will still be something along these lines.
Why Dandadan Season 2’s Finale Will Be Even Bigger Than Season 1
What People Should Expect From Dandadan Season 3
IfDandadanseason 2 does end with Kinta’s introduction, then that could make the season 2 finale an even bigger cliffhanger than season 1’s. Kinta’s arc ends with the introduction of Vamola, an alien girl who, after being defeated in a fight, kisses Okarun and declares her intention to marry him. A scene like that would be a massive moment to leave things on, so it would be the perfect cliffhanger ending for season 2.
More importantly, everything with Kinta and Vamola works to set up the Space Globalists arc, an arc that’s not onlyDandadan’s longest arc, but one of its best arcs for its incredible action and the amazing level of growth the characters all go through, soDandadanseason 2’s finale will be big for setting up the biggest arc of the story to date. If anything,Dandadanseason 2is poised to just be a precursor to how big season 3 will be, and overall, that’s going to be great to watch play out.
