Redfallis coming to Xbox Game Pass a day earlier than many were expecting in some areas of the world. The co-op mystical vampire shooter is planned for launch in a matter of days, but exactly what dayRedfallis ready to play will vary based on region.

Redfallis a brand new first-person shooter coming courtesy of Arkane Studios, the developers ofDishonored, and Bethesda. The game is set up to be one of the biggest new game launches in the first half of 2023, and making it available on Xbox Game Pass the day it comes out is only going to further add to the immediate player count of this new IP. The global release times forRedfallwere recently posted on the official Twitter page for the game, letting gamers on all corners of the planet know exactly what hour they’ll be able to startthe first day one Xbox Game Pass release of May, and also announcing that pre-loading is already available. What may surprise some gamers is that the date listed in certain areas may not be exactly the date they were expecting. The launch date forRedfallhas been set as May 2 for some time, but in the Americas, it appears fans will actually be able to start playing the game on May 1.

It is worth pointing out that the game will be launching at the exact same moment everywhere. The surprise comes from the fact that the branch of Arkane Studios that developedRedfalloperates out of Austin, Texas. So it would make the most sense that the announced release date, May 2, would be the date it launches in that city. According to the official release chart, though, gamers in Austin will actually be able to start playing the game at 7 PM on May 1. There certainly won’t be any gamers complaining aboutjumping intoRedfall’s vampiric wastelanda little earlier than they thought.
