After taking a week off, we are back with another Xur update to giveDestinyplayers the lowdown on where to find the Agent of the Nine, what exotic items he has in his collection, and whether or not any of those items are worth buying.Strange Coinsaren’t hard to come by, mind you, but some weapons inDestinyare worth the effort more than others.

Xur’s Location

This week,Destinyplayers can find Xur in the balcony area of Tower North. To reach Xur, head to the left after spawning in, follow the long hallway past the Sweeper Bot, turn to the left, and enter the open area. Xur will be in the very back against the railing.

Exotic Armor and Weapon

Xur’s exotic armor inventory this week includes the Peregrine Greaves boots for Titans, theCelestial Nighthawk helmetfor Hunters, and the Heart of Praxic Fire chest piece for Warlocks. All three are solid exotic armor pieces for their respective classes, but the most useful is the Celestial Nighthawk.

It isn’t often that Hunters use Golden Gun in PvE, but when a team needs to do maximum damage on a boss the Celestial Nighthawk will do the trick. Its perk lets the Hunter fire a single Golden Gun shot with 6x the normal amount of damage.

Peregrine Greaves are also fun to use with Striker Titans that use shoulder charge. With the boots on, any shoulder charge in the air does extra damage, sometimes even killing an opponent that’s in super.

The Monte Carlo auto rifle isXur’s exotic weaponfor the weekend, a fast-firing option that suits melee-focused players well. As we’ve said time and time again – and will forever since Bungie is done updatingDestiny– auto rifles are not the best option, but they can be fun to use in PvP.

Xur’s exotic weapon bundles for this week are the Monte Carlo and its Royal Flush ornament, and the Red Death and its Steel Witch ornament.
