We have the early scoop on where to find the vendor Xur and what exotic armor and weapons he has available toDestinyplayers for the weekend of May 13th.

It’s been a fairly by-the-numbers week forDestinyplayers, whose only major point of excitement was the release of the melee hotfix on May 10th. With thehotfix now live, player melees should be much more accurate and fair inDestiny, eliminating those moments where the attack seems to whiff. Bladedancers are likely also jumping for joy, as the melee fix has made their super a little more effective.

In addition to the melee fix, this week also saw anotherDestinyTwitch stream wherein the developers at Bungie gave fans a closer look at theart in the game. While much of the focus with pastDestinystreams has been on the future of the series, this latest one took a look backward.

Say what you will about the quality ofDestiny, but it’s hard to deny the game doesn’t have astriking art style. We’d recommend watching the recap of the ‘Art of Destiny’ stream for those who might have missed it the first time around.

As for Xur, this week players can find the exotic merchant next to the Crucible Quartermaster in the Tower. After spawning into the Earth-based social space head straight, down the steps, past Eris Morn, and Xur should be on the left hand side.

For armor, Xur has the Twilight Garrison chest piece for Titans, the Achlyophage Symbiote helmet for Hunters, and the STAG helmet for Warlocks. It’s funny that after praying for Xur to bring the Twilight Garrison and seeing no such luck for months, the exotic merchant has now had it for sale twice within a short period of time.

On the weapon front, Xur has Super Good Advice on sale for those who fancy a powerful heavy machine gun in their exotic slot. Once a bounty-specific exotic, Super Good Advice has now become a regular player in the exotic loot table, and it’s well worth using when facing bosses with easy to hit precision spots.
