The Pokémon Center has just unveiled its latestPokémonEeveelution merchandise, and it comes in the form of a collaboration with Bear Walker for more custom Skateboard decks. With nine total new decks unveiled, includingone for Eevee and each of its evolutions, there is one for everyone. That being said, these boards have a history of selling fast, and this is no exception.

With less than 1000 boards available per design, most of these boards sold out within less than 24 hours of being released. In fact, at the time of writing, the new Bear Walker Eevee boardis the only one remaining, which comes as no surprise, being that it is the most expensive. Unfortunately, these were a limited run, so they won’t be restocked.

9Jolteon’s Design Is Striking, But Lackluster In Comparison

Price: $129.99 | Limited Edition: 900 Decks Available

Asone of the original Eeveelutions, Jolteon seems to fall into a weird gray area. It’s a nostalgic favorite for some fans who remember when there were only three, but it’s sometimes completely forgotten among the eight options available now. This problem could grow with thepotential introduction of another EeveelutioninPokémon Legends: Z-A.Withone of the lowest available stock options, it seems that the Pokémon company might also be aware of this unfortunate truth.

Although Jolteon’s design is certainly vibrant and features an iridescent foil that shimmers in the light, it’s also incredibly busy and still somehow lackluster. The iridescent foil takes away from the intended design of the lightning effect, and since it surrounds Jolteon exclusively, it almost overpowers the Pokémon, making it stand out less among the rest of the design. While still a neat design, it pales in comparison to some of the other options.

8Leafeon’s Nature-Based Design Is On Theme, But Far Too Busy

Price: $129.99 | Limited Edition: 720 Decks Available

As my favorite Eeveelution, it’s hard to place Leafeon so low on the list, but compared to the others, I can’t deny the differences. Similarly to Jolteon’s design,Leafeon’s deck is unfortunately a design that’s simply too busy. In addition to the amount of foliage lining the entire design, this deck also features the iridescent foil aspect in a way that almost feels awkward.

Rather than being used to enhance the design, the iridescent foil feels unnecessary here because there is so much else going on. While the foliage is on-brand for Leafeon, the grass-type Eeveelution, the design would probably fare better with a bit less of it. Additionally, with the way the branch is placed in the foreground, and the background that Leafeon is sitting on is so dark, it almost appears as if Leafeon is floating above the branch.

7Flareon’s Contrast Is Eye-Catching, But There’s No Wow Factor

As one of the few skateboard decks with a darker design, Flareon’s deck stands out. Given its bright colors,Flareon contrasts heavily with its surroundings, making it the clear center of the design. Additionally, with the way the lava flows from a far point in the background to a close point in the foreground, your eye is naturally pulled through the whole design, making it easy to appreciate.

All that being said, this design still lacks the wow factor. Many of the decks feature an iridescent foil that shimmers in the light, which helps bring the design to life, but this one doesn’t have that. It’s disappointing because this could’ve easily been one of the best designs of the bunch, but it falls short of that victory for this particular reason. It’s overall a good design, but it needs that element that makes it pop.

6Eevee’s Board Is The Complete Package

Price: $299.99 | Limited Edition: 930 Decks Available

Coming in at the highest price point, it’s no surprise thatthe 2025 Bear Walker Eevee board designis the most complete package. Unlike the other decks that are, well, just decks, the Eevee skateboard comes complete with matching trucks and wheels, so you’re ready to go as soon as it arrives. While this isn’t the first Eevee board that Bear Walker has collaborated with Pokémon for, it is a significantly better design.

Keep in mind that this is the only board that comes with trucks and wheels. All the evolution decks are simply that, the decks, as indicated in their price difference from the Eevee board.

While the original Eevee board featured a neutral design to match the rest of the line that it was released alongside, this 2025 version showcases a fully colored Eevee depicted over a background of cherry blossoms. Although it may not look like the rest of the evolution boards in this release, that’s the point. Eevee is the original Pokémon where it all starts, and, for that reason, it should always stand out.

5Vaporeon’s Design Is A Shimmering Masterpiece

Whereas the iridescent foil simply didn’t work that well for Jolteon and Leafeon’s designs, Vaporeon is the first near-perfect use of it. Rather than featuring a noisy pattern or distracting from the Pokémon the deck is showcasing, the iridescent foil on Vaporeon’s deck is sleek, shimmering, and fits in perfectly with the theme of water.

The deck is simply beautiful, but all that being said, it is also pretty simple. Whereas some of the boards have been too busy, Vaporeon’s design is missing other colors and elements to help break up the design. The water, while beautiful, takes up the majority of the board itself, with the Vaporeon placed quietly at the bottom. It’s a great design, but perhaps a swimming pose or something a bit more dynamic to make Vaporeon a little more interesting could have improved it.

4Espeon’s Rainbow Luminescent Deck Is As Magical As The Pokémon Itself

Price: $129.99 | Limited Edition: 930 Decks Available

Espeon’s design is framed similarly to that of Vaporeon in that the Pokémon is placed towards the bottom of the deck design while the iridescent foil fills the upper section of the design. Unlike Vaporeon’s, however, Espeon’s is helpfully broken up by clouds that make the foil aspects a little less overpowering. That being said, Espeon is a relatively light-colored Pokémon, so placing it directly over those white clouds doesn’t necessarily give it enough contrast to stand out.

The darker rocks towards the bottom of the design and the outcropping that Espeon is standing on do a good job of breaking up the light colors of the design and drawing your eyes, but the rock is almost more noticeable than Espeon. Overall, the design is beautiful, magical, and an improvement on the Vaporeon one, but I wish Espeon stood out a little bit more. Of course, when taking into account the top of the deck as well, the clouds are one of the most interesting designs shown yet.

3Glaceon’s Deck Depicts A Perfectly Balanced Moment

Compared to Vaporeon’s design, which leaves a little too much open space, and Espeon’s, which could use more contrast, Glaceon is the best example ofa perfectly balanced deck with features that make every aspect of the design stand out. While Glaceon is placed similarly at the bottom of the board, the otherwise open space, like on Vaporeon’s deck, is used here to draw your eye right to the Pokémon and add to the overall design.

The ice ledges in the background that appear on either side of the board create a natural flow of your eye down to Glaceon, who is standing over an iridescent icy river. The contrast of the darker rocks in the design helps break up some of the blues, whites, and purples used to create the cold and intense feel of Glaceon. Furthermore, while it’s nothing crazy,Glaceon appears to be interacting with the environment of the design, making the whole piece feel complete. This, in addition to the beautiful ice crystals pictured on the front, makes this a must-have for Glaceon fans.

2Sylveon’s Deck Accurately Captures Its Joyful Nature

Of all the designs, Sylveon’s deck design feels the most like it was captured froma scene in thePokémonanime. Featuringa happy and smiling Sylveon placed beautifully in the center, the design doesn’t necessarily emphasize the Pokémon but showcases it naturally as part of the whole design. While that might not work for others, as it would feel a bit unnatural to have a Pokémon as mysterious as Umbreon placed into what feels like a domesticated scene for its design, it works for Sylveon.

While the leaves are just sparse enough to help frame the design, the falling cherry blossom petals help carry that same pink throughout the design. These small touches on top of the details in the iridescent foil space behind Sylveon, showcasing what looks to be bread and other goods, add a level of comfort and joy that feels synonymous with Sylveon’s joyful expression depicted here.

1Umbreon’s Deck Is A Standout Among The Rest

Price: $129.99 | Limited Edition: 1,600 Decks Available

Finally, Umbreon’s deck design is the standout of the bunch. Not only does this design perfectly implement some of the missing concerns from the other designs, but it is visually stunning. The iridescent foil, which features as the night sky in this design, takes just enough of the focus to be noticed while not overpowering Umbreon. It’s broken up beautifully by the darker clouds, so it’s not as prominent in the design and stops before reaching Umbreon. While the Espeon design does this too, the key difference here is contrast.

Rather than placing Umbreon over a darker sky, the glowing moon is placed perfectly behind it to give it the contrast it needs to stand out in the design, and, since its coloring is similar to the rock placed beneath it, it doesn’t draw attention away from the Pokémon either. All the small details and clear intention of this design make it one of the most eye-catching of the available options, which should come as no surprise considering thatUmbreon is one of the top Eeveelution choicesamongPokémonfans, and is likely why this board had such a high initial stock.
