Enter the Gungeonis one of the past generation’s most successful roguelike games.Exit the Gungeonis an audacious bullet hell dungeon crawler spinoff ofEnter the Gungeon, with the same bullet-shaped enemies and over-the-top enemy designs. Despite that,Exit the Gungeonalways seemed to sit in the shadow ofEnter the Gungeondespite its quality gameplay. Dodge Roll is hoping to build off that potential with a new massive update forExit the Gungeonnamed Hello to Arms.
Hello to Arms adds all manner of new content toExit the Gungeon. The biggest addition, however, has to be Arsenal Mode. In this mode, which can be toggled on and off, players will be able to pick up any number of limited-ammunition weapons either as loot or from stores in a much moreEnter the Gungeon-like experience. Since there are so many crossover players from the original game, Dodge Role’s working to better appeal to that audience.

The second major addition in Hello to Arms is the expansion of shops. Bello’s shop is bigger than ever and can now be found twice perExit the Gungeonfloor. Bello’s used to be found only after the final boss of a level, but can now also be found mid-floor, too. Dodge Roll says the goal with this is to increaseExit the Gungeonitemization, as well as offer new sources for weapon drops particularly in Arsenal Mode.
There’s plenty more content to be found in Hello to Arms beyond those two major changes, though. The newGlocktopus optional bosscan be found in the Gungeon, as can the new NPC Ledge Goblin. And, of course, there are a good number of new guns and items to discover in-game, too. It’s a great opportunity to revisitExit the Gungeonor check it out for the first time.
Exit the Gungeonis available now on PC, Switch, and iOS devices via Apple Arcade.
