The long-awaited RPG from Square Enix,Forspoken, is finally about to arrive on PS5 and PC. Although many critics have been disappointed with the latest foray from theFinal Fantasy 15development team, there are still many people out there, including critics, excited to jump into theopen-world Isekai experience. For those that would like to know just when they can expect to play the digital version ofForspoken, this guide will go over the expected release times on PS5 and Steam.

Forspoken Release Time
While the developer nor publisher have shared official information on therelease time forForspoken, the countdown clocks on PSN and Steam paint a picture of when fans should expect the game to go live.
PS5
According to the PSN listing forForspoken, the game is expected tolaunch digitally around 12 AM ET on January 24. Once playersdownload and installForspoken, the game should be able to be played once it strikes midnight on the east coast. For those on the west coast, like California,Forspokenshould be available around 9 PM PT on January 23. It should also launch around 10 PM for those in the Mountain time zone and then 11 PM for those living in Central time.

PC/Steam
And those that plan on checking outForspokenon PC via Steam should be able to start the gamearound 12 PM ET on January 24. This means that those on the west coast can play Forspoken around 9 AM PT on Tuesday.
Forspoken File Size
There has been some controversy surrounding the large file size ofForspoken, so players should make sure they have enough storage space on their console (and PC) before trying to download it. The PS5 version seems to take up around 90 GB of space, and the PC version asks players to have at least 150 GB of space. ThePC requirements to playForspokenare also pretty hefty, so fans will need a powerful machine before exploring the world of Athia.
