Late-night talk show legend Jimmy Kimmel has had some choice words about CBS’s decision to cancelThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Yesterday, CBS made the shock announcement that it was cancelingThe Late Showfranchise following the conclusion of Colbert’s eleventh season, with the final episode set to air July 02, 2025.

The late-night talk show has become something of an institution on US television during its 32-year run, and was previously presented by late-night TV heavyweight, David Letterman. He presented the show until 2015, when Colbert took over, and will now end after his 11th season.
