Announced via a YouTube trailer, the team has set the release date for just a few short weeks away, on Aug 03, 2025. Leaving the colorful danger ofNew Vegasbehind, players can expect a new journey set in snowy Portland, Oregon, complete with real life landmarks and locations to discover. Impressively, the unofficial expansion also boasts three new story-based questlines, full voice acting, over 50 side quests, and improved combat mechanics and graphics. Fans can also expect to enjoy new vehicle sections, both on the ground and in the air.
It is worth nothing that to playFallout: The Frontier,the player must own the base game and thefour official DLCs. The current size is above 19GB and may continue to grow with each scheduled update. The mod itself is free of charge. The team has also clarified thatFallout: The Frontiertakes place in the same time frame as the official DLCS ofFallout: New Vegas. The team also cautions that gamers create a brand new save is in order to avoid conflicts.
