War of the Visions x FFXIV crossover collaboration event

War of the Visions in FFXIV

As part of the collaboration event, which is scheduled to take place at some point during December,Final Fantasy XIVplayers will be able to get their hands on a couple of new glamour sets. Sadly, these won’t come from any kind of in-game event quest, but they will be available for all players on theFFXIVOnline Store.

For who play as a male character, there will be the Mont (King of Leonis) set, complete with fur collar, red cape, and rather shiny boots. For those looking for something more feminine, the Machérie (Queen of Hourne) set will be available to purchase. The set features a white and red dress, which is quite similar to some previous White Mage artifact gear, and long boots.

It’s unknown as of yet how much these glamour sets will cost, whether they’ll be gender-locked, or if they will be dyeable. If they follow the same pattern as previous character-specific sets, the likelihood of being able to change their colors is slim, but I choose to live in hope.

FFXIV in War of the Visions

For players of the mobile gameWar of the Visions, some all-newDawntrailVisions Cards will be available. The images shown are of Thancred and Y’shtola, who were available during the previous collaboration event, so it’s uncertain whether just the cards look different or if new characters will be involved.

This event will begin in Japan on December 1 and run until December 23. For the rest of the world, it will kick off on January 7 and run until January 28.
