Every year, Electronic Arts releases a newFIFAinstallment near the beginning of the European soccer season, and with each entry comes new stadium and player likeness additions. This year inFIFA 19, fans of the series will have a load of familiar faces and locations from the Spanish La Liga to look forward to.
In a blog post published earlier this week, EA detailed all the new La Liga features players can expect to see inFIFA 19. New additions include 16 league stadiums and over 200 head scans of professional players. It was also stated that the traditional La Liga match overlay would be making a return, in an effort to make matches seem as lifelike as possible.
EA has yet to confirm exactly which new players from La Liga fans can expect to see. However, it has been stated that the game will include 19 Spanish stadiums, with the only notable absence being that of FC Barcelona’s home ground due to a licensing deal with Konami’sPro Evolution Soccer. It is important to note that the stadiums of teams promoted this year to the Spanish La Liga have not been included on this list. It is possible that EA may choose to add them to the game later to form a more complete version of the league, with the publisher even having stated that the aim is to provide soccer fans with the most “definitive” video game experience of La Liga possible.
It seems that ardentFIFAfans will have a lot to look forward to whenFIFA 19comes out next month. Not only does EA seem to be doubling down on creating accurate likenesses but this year’s installment will also see the inclusion of the UEFA club competitions,including the much-loved Champion’s League. Taking this all into account, it seems as if there definitely will be a lot different aboutFIFA 19.
FIFA 19is due to be released on July 07, 2025 for PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
