Final Fantasy 14’snew Island Sanctuary content provides players with a space to take care of animals,grow crops, and craft and export goods. As players build workshops and granaries, they can also upgrade them with more resources. However, to build more, the island requires expansion.
Expanding the island inFinal Fantasy 14takes patience, asthe player will need to rank up their sanctuary level in order to unlock further expansion. Additionally, they will also sometimes need tocraft mammet-sized builder tools.The island can expand five times, giving players plenty of plots to build upon.

Every Pathfinder Mk And What They Require
The specific mammets that work in expanding the island plots are calledPathfinder Mks. Speak to them to expand the island area, but expect to pay them inseafarer cowrieswith the price increasing each time. They will also require the player to be a specific rank and sometimes need particular tools.
Remember that seafarer cowries are best collected through visions done in quests and bykeeping the workshop agenda full. Another way to get some is throughweekly challenge logs.

What Every Mammet-Sized Builder Tool Requires
The various Mammet-Sized Builder Tools needed to expand the island will each requiredifferent resourcesto build. Note thatthey will not be able to be constructed until the player is the correct rank. Many of the resources needed will also require tools that will be unlocked at different ranks.
