After reaching the Evenfall main quest inFinal Fantasy16, players have the option ofpicking up the Notorious Mark of Dread Comet. This will lead them to the Dhalmekian desert, in between the regions of The Sickle and The Fields of Carava. The bright red plume of the creature should be easily spotted among the sands.

Unlike the other hunts, the Dread Comet doesn’t come with aWill meter, which means that it cannot be Staggered for players to do increased damage. However, this means that the creature is more susceptible to interrupting attacks.

How To Beat Dread Comet In Final Fantasy 16

Not being able to cause Dread Comet to be Staggered means there is no time for a rest, soremember to healup, especially when getting damaged by the shockwaves. Be aggressive, and in the end, Clive will come out on top.

The spoils of this hunt include 5300 XP, 90 Ability Points, 13000 Gil, and 30 Renown, players will also receive one Comet Feather foruse at the Blacksmith.
