Players can use the powers of fan favorites like Marth, Ike, Tiki, Celica, and more. But they hold a little secret, and if players are willing to move their units around a little, they might find that certain characters can boost each other’s powers.

What is Linking in Fire Emblem Engage?

Emblem Linking is when two units from the same game stand next to one another; if one of the units is fromFire Emblem Engage’s DLC, then their powers will earn an extra boost. Since there are currently only two units that are available from the DLC at this time, there are only two that can boost their powers through this method. Players can currently unlock Tiki and Edelguard/Dimitri/Claude.

When these two stand next to the other heroes in their respective series, Marth and Byleth, they get a boost to their powers. This suggests that this will also be possible with the remaining DLC characters. Datamines, while not official, have grabbed thereturningFire Emblemheroesthat will most likely make up the other DLC characters that will be released over the course of 2023. These would likely be able to match up with the other units from their games to also have a boost in powers.

When the unit that has Tiki’s bracelet on is standing on an adjacent tile to the unit with Marth’s Emblem ring on, players just have to Engage the unit with Tiki. Use the Engage skill, which will change from Divine Blessing to Divine Blessing +. Not only does this give the unit aRevival Stone, giving them an extra health bar, but now it also gives non-synced units a full heal to their HP or a synced unit +3 to their engage meter.

When standing adjacent to Byleth inFire Emblem Engage, units with theThree Housesbracelet will have access to Houses Unite+, which replaces the previous Houses Unite. The unit will still attack with Aymr, Areadbhar, and then Failnaught at 50% damage, but after combat, that unit gets to take another action.
