Since launchingFortnitelast summer, Epic Games has made a reputation for itself by staying in constant communication with its fans. This has not only helped player engagement, but it has also ensured thatFortniteand the wildly popular Battle Royale mode continue to evolve and improve. While the game still has a fewminor issues to work out such as weapon accuracy, one of the bigger pain points for console games is finally getting a resolution.

Over on Reddit, a frustrated player named vigilancefoetracer posted a message towards Epic Games, lamenting the fact that console players continue to have issues with damage traps popping out first when trying to build a wall inFortniteBattle Royale. Players want build order to reset after switching to a weapon and back to building, so that a trap option doesn’t appear. This is a fairly hot topic within the console community with some high profile players even jumping in on the issue.

A few hours later, Epic Games actually responded to the request and confirmed that the longstanding problem for console players isfinally getting resolved in update 3.2, which is scheduled for release sometime later today on March 8. After the update, traps will finally be reset after exiting the building menu, meaning that walls will once again be the first option that appears when entering the building menu again.

In addition to that highly requested fix, today aims to be fairly busy for the online game. Not only does update 3.2 introduce new character skins, boost pads, and other fixes, but also Battle Royale now has anew limited time mode called Teams of 20. At the start of the match, all 100 players are split up into five teams of twenty, giving the mode a feel similar to the 50 vs 50 mode from December. This mode also increases the chances for Treasure Chests and ammo boxes, spawns supply drops more often, and also features six storm circles instead of the usual nine.

Fortniteis available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
