With rumors of new weapons and a possibleDoomsday eventforFortnite, some players might not have noticed the small, in-game changes that Epic has been making on the sly. There have been small changes over the last few weeks on the map that may be hinting at something big.
Players have probably noticed the bigger changes happening inFortnitethe past few weeks, including the addition ofSkye’s swordsand campsites as well as the underwater hatches added to the lakes near The Agency. But Epic has changed a lot of things around the map, and all those hints are pointing to something coming.

First, the supplies from the Crash Site have been slowly moving. It looks like someone has been pillaging the supplies from the crashed plane, moving them to a new location without leaving any hints. The supplies have been appearing in theShadow Safe House. According to some users on Twitter, they are the same supplies. So what could Shadow be stockpiling all those supplies for?
While players have been distracted by the Deadpool skins and the strange battle going on at Weeping Woods betweengnomes with telescopesand stuffed bears, some other changes have been happening too. There have been vines growing over the Crash Site’s wreckage every week, a little at time, so slowly that most players haven’t even noticed. And there are also a lot of rumors that Pleasant Park might be wipes off of the map completely.
Many of the hints seem to be pointing to some sort of catastrophic event having to do with the war between the Ghost and the Shadow. Perhaps some of the battle will take out Pleasant Park and alter the map, destroying the current look and bring in a new map for Season 3. While thehashtag RIPFortnitemight be trending on Twitter, it’s still one of the most played games, and Epic is continuing to change and grow the game.
There are still many fans that are looking forward to whatever changes that Epic is bringing toFortnite.
