Players logging intoFortnitetoday will be greeted with a notification informing them that the game’s Week 5 Challenges will be delayed.

Before the notice,Fortniteplayers were anxiously watching the countdown in the Challenges section, but when the timer finally reached 0, nothing happened. While Challenges typically go live every Tuesday, Epic Games had inexplicably delayed the Week 5 Challenges for another two days, until Thursday, May 31.

The officialFortniteTwitter gave more clarity to the situation, relaying the new date and time to players while also noting that the delay was intentional. It also appears that this will be a permanent change, and players can expect Challenges to reset every Thursday from now on.

When the Week 5 Challenges finally arrive on Thursday, players who find challenges to be a pain to track might be relieved to know that there is a new website designed to help with that. Fort-Friend is an interactive map/site thattracks weeklyFortnitechallengesand provides a checklist to keep track of challenges that haven’t been complete yet. It’s an incredibly useful tool, and its simple interface makes it easy to use. The website will continually update when the weekly challenges are revealed, and the creator is currently working on a mobile version to make it even more convenient.
