As far as beloved gaming genres, racing games have been around for ages entertaining players, withForza Motorsport 7doing a great job contributing to the medium. But now, new gamers have to give a heartfelt goodbye to the game about four years after the initial launch date.

Recently announced on the Forza Motorsport Twitter page,Forza Motorsport 7is now reaching its End of Life status on September 15th, 2021. What this entails is that the game and any of its DLC packs will not be available for purchase anymore.

Luckily, fans who have already purchased the game will still be able to download and play the game without any hiccups. Additionally, online andotherForzamultiplayermodeswill still be made readily available for players who own the game. However, it has not been announced the reasoning behind this decision yet or how much longer these online services will be running for.

Anyone else that is interested in grabbing the game before it is wiped off theMicrosoft marketplaceis also in luck. There will be a special discount available on the Microsoft store forForza Motosport 7now through September 15th. The game is now available for 75% off for a total of $9.99 for the standard edition, $14.99 for the deluxe, and $19.99 for the ultimate edition. This discount effectively gives people 48 days to consider purchasing whichever edition they would like.

Turn-10 Studiosand Microsoft will continue offering support toForza Motorsport 7esports competitions and partners through the September 15th deadline. So long-time fans will still be able to look forward to new content despite this setback. On top of that, there will also be new Rivals events coming out as well. So as sad as it is to see this game go, hopefully, new players will be able to hop on this game quickly, and current fans will still be able to enjoy all these unique events.
