I’m pleased to present yet another Free App of the Day that’s actually not crap!Boowie! The Strong Warrioris a scrolling shoot ’em up featuring a weird thing that shoots weird things at weird things and sucks up weird things to do a weird thing.
It’s a solid shooter with plenty of challenge and boss fights, but the most striking thing about Boowie! is just how gorgeous it looks. Fantastic artistic direction and vibrant graphics can really go a long way in the iPhone gaming market, and Boowie! has that in spades.
This is a really good game and it’s worth paying for, so make sure you get it while it’s free!
