While the biggest bombshells of the week happened duringNintendo’s Direct showcase, those we’ll have to wait until next week. However, Cameron and Anthony still have plenty to discuss on this week’s episode of Game Rant Arcade, with one of the most anticipated games of the month, and even year, being a big one for the duo to chew through.
First up, there was more drama on the Activision front. The most major news is thatActivision Blizzard is now being investigated by the SEC, following the State of California lawsuit that alleges a toxic workplace and other shockingly terrible events being swept under the rug at the company. Additionally,Overwatch 2lost its executive producer, painting an even grimmer picture for the company’s future.

In other news,Quantic Dream might be making aStar Warsgame. While nothing has been confirmed yet, rumor has it that Quantic Dream is inking a new deal with Disney following the fulfillment of its contract with Sony. Quantic Dream makes a specific brand of narrative game, which paints a picture that it could be removed from the lightsaber-wielding Jedi and instead feature bounty hunters, smugglers, or something else entirely. That’s all rumor and speculation for now, though.
Respawn, meanwhile, stated that it’stoo busy to makeTitanfall 3,though a statement released by the company since then has restored some hope that Titanfall 3 is on the way. However, with everything the studio has cooking at the moment, it might be a while before fans get to see it, if they ever do.
