After the events that took place in Natlan,the Tsaritsa recalled the Fatui Harbingers exploring foreign nations back to Snezhnaya, only to dispatch them to Nod-Krai, something that has been revealed through the in-game story quests. For now, it’s only known that Dottore has gone to the region, but leaks have also teased the presence of otherFatui Harbingers inGenshin Impactduring the upcoming patches.

Among the three mentioned Fatui Harbingers, only Dottore’s presence in Nod-Krai has been confirmed. Not only has his dispatch to the region been confirmed in-game, but he is also shown during the most recent Nod-Krai teaser trailer, posted on the officialGenshin Impactchannel on YouTube. While teasing each of the different factions that will be present in the region, the Fatui are also highlighted.The video shows different designs for Fatui enemy types that players have encountered so far, as well as Dottore leading them. However,there is still a chance that their encounter with the Fatui Harbinger will be pushed back into a later update, like Version 6.1 or beyond. During the Fontaine story arc, players only really met the Fatui Harbinger Arlecchino in Version 4.1, despite knowing about her presence in the area as early as Version 4.0 and meeting her children, Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet, during that same patch. As such, it’s possible that Version 6.0 will serve as an introduction to the region of Nod-Krai before putting the Traveler in direct conflict or contact with the Fatui and Dottore, for example.

It’s Unlikely Dottore Will Be Playable
Out of these three characters, there is speculation that some may be playable, while others will not. Dottore is the most unlikely of the three Harbingers to become playable. The first piece of evidence is that he is an antagonist in the story, and the game has yet to make villains playable.So far, only characters with gray moral codes, such as Arlecchino, Wanderer, and Childe, have become playable. These characters have committed villainous acts, but they are portrayed as anti-heroes of sorts. Dottore, alternatively, is a sadistic villain who performs experiments on children inGenshin Impact.
Additionally, a new leak by Genshin Leakflow mentions that Dottore may not only become a weekly boss fight, but his rumored fate may impede him from ever becoming playable. The leak was shared by SufficientSir_9753 onReddit. This may be the same reason whyCapitano won’t be playable inGenshin Impact, though there is still space for HoYoverse to surprise its players. Following the same logic,Sandrone is also considered a vile character who may not be fit to accompany the Traveler as a playable character. Columbina, however, has the highest chances of becoming playable among the three Harbingers. There have already been leaks about her playable form, and she hasn’t been described as a full villain just yet, despite her association with the Fatui.If Columbina is the newborn Frostmoon Goddess, like the leaks say, it is also likely that she may be a benevolent figure, augmenting the odds of her becoming playable.
