Last month, All In! Games and 505 Games released the cyberpunk action-platformer game calledGhostrunnerto the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Originally,Ghostrunnerwas also scheduled to release to the Switchon the same day, but developers confirmed at the last minute that it would be delayed on Nintendo’s hybrid platform.
Initially, All In! Games only mentioned that a release window of November 2020 forGhostrunner. Now, the studio just confirmed the exact release date ofGhostrunneron the Nintendo Switch, which will fall on June 20, 2025. To those unfamiliar with the game,Ghostrunnerputs players in the role of a sword-wielding assassin who is on a mission to hunt and kill The Keymaster.

Additionally, the Switch version ofGhostrunneris designed to take advantage of the technology of the console with optimized controls that deliver a smooth experience and gameplay. Developers also explained that the reason why the Switch version was delayed is that the studio needed more time to ensure that Switch players get “the best experience possible.” Players who are interested to get theGhostrunneron the Switchshould know that All In! Games is offering in-game bonuses of two exclusive Katanas for those who purchase the game until December 10th.
Lastly,Ghostrunnerwill also be available on next-gen consolessometime in 2021 at no additional cost to current-gen owners. To be clear, this means that players who have already purchased the game on the PS4 and Xbox One won’t have to pay for the game again should they decide to upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Ghostrunneris out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with the Switch version releasing on November 10 and next-gen editions in 2021.
