Since its November 2021 release,Forza Horizon 5continues to captivate players with itsappealing, open-world gameplay, rotating events, and in particular — its lush, gorgeous locales. There are a plethora of awe-inspiring sights to behold while zipping across the Mexican landscapes.

With so much to do, and such large, rich biomes to explore, there are many memorable, often secluded points of interest that may have eluded even some of the most dedicated players. Whether well-hidden easter eggs or simply smaller areas that reside off the beaten path,Forza Horizon 5has plenty of awesome places that some gamers might have missed.
8A Football Stadium
For those looking to take a break from driving and partake in some football—or “soccer” depending on the geographic location—Playground games include a stadium that residesin the Baja region. It’s a fitting inclusion given the sport’s prominence in Mexico, though it may escape some players exploring this massive sandbox.
Players can even enter the arena using one of the various entrances and knock around a soccerball -Rocket Leaguestyle. To locate the “El Estadio Horizon”, pull up the map and look for a circular area with several roads conglomerating on it. It’s just to theeast of Tierra Prospera.
7Hidden Indoor Murals
This instance can be filed in the category of “easter egg”, though the point of interest isvery well hidden regardless. One aesthetic staple ofFH5is a variety of murals featuring custom paintings scattered about Mexico. While many are more or less in plain view, there is one particular area where they are quite tricky to spot.
To find this secret focal point, players will want to travel to theeasternregion of the map, near theApex (Road Racing) Horizon Festival. Drive down a nearby fork in the road, just beyond an XP Board, and look for a few shacks with a “cafe” sign above and a beige and white roof. Going around the back and peeking through the windows in Photo Mode will reveal some colorful murals through the blinds.
6A Serene Waterfall
There are certainly many focal points for those amateur photographers looking to get a scenic or otherwise interesting picture. One of the most significant might be a particularly gorgeous waterfall in thesoutheast of Atlantes de Tula, to the west of the Cascadas de Agua Azul.Players should look to the verysouthern regionof the Mexico map for orientation.

Follow one of the nearby rivers when driving in this area and it will lead to the large waterfall. Players can simply step back and admire this wonder of nature, take a nice photo, or even attempt to make their way up the waterfall; just be sure tobring a car built for rough, hilly terrain.
5A Mysterious Floating Tree
This one likely stands as an obscure glitch rather than an implemented point of interest by Playground, but it’s an amusing one nonetheless. While there have reportedly been some floating objects spotted throughout Mexico, one of the most prominent takes the form of a tree levitating amongst a hilly field.
Specifically, this anomaly of nature can be located near a road between thefootball stadium and Colinas Aridas. Players can even drive under the tree and capture a photo of its hollowed inner-workings.
4La Gran Caldera Volcano
Mexico is riddled with natural landmarks and various other points of interest which can be explored inFH5. Yet, they’re not always easy to pick out, even when they take the form of a massive, smoldering volcano.
One awe-inspiring sight within this vast wilderness is La Gran Caldera Volcano. This landmark is modeled off a caldera that’s the site of one of the largest, most devastating supervolcanic events in Earth’s history. While the rocky, cliff-laden area is fairly easy to pick out—La Gran Calderaregion on the northwest part of the map—finding the actual volcano proves a bit tricky.
Follow the winding roads on theeast sideof this region, which lead to the peak—and players will soon find the volcano, along with a great view of various buildings and a large lake.This handy guidecovers the location and route in more detail.
3Treacherous Cliffs And Train Tracks
While not in fact modeled off the James Cameronfantasy epic, the vast stretch of rocky terrain and towering cliffs feels Pandora-esque, which is why it’s been given the unofficial nickname “Avatar Land” by some.

In this treacherous region of cliffs, valleys, and a speeding train, players can partake in some off-road chaos and epic stunts while snapping some great photos. This area, officially called Copper Canyon, is located on thenortheastern region of the map, which can be spotted upon following the cliffside road.
2The Temple Of Quechula
This abandoned Roman Catholic temple is quite a sight to behold and sets the stage for some truly awesome photos. This piece of Mexican history can be located by venturinga bit east of the Sierra Verde Dam. The old structural ruins can even be viewed with two distinct backdrops—fully or partially submerged in the riverbed it sits on,depending on what seasonit’s visited.

1Mayan Temples
Illustrating Mexico’s rich, unique history is a smattering of Mayan temples strewn about the environment. These areas add to the unique character of the country’s landscapes—while setting the stage for some great pictures, point-laden stunts, and fun challenges.
One of the most significant is the large structure of theEl' Balamruins; a historic temple that Playground Games has rendered in impressive detail. The temple stands as a significant landmark that was once the seat of the ancient Mayan civilization. It can be spotted within the thick rainforests that residein the southeast area of the map.
