It’s up in the air whether or not he’s playable
Shortly afterconfirming a playable Cranky KonginDonkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Nintendo hasfinally confirmed the existenceof another character that was long rumored to be in the game — Funky Kong. Nintendo hasn’t said whether or not he’ll be playable, or operating in a similar fashion to previous games where he simply facilitates the travel between different worlds.
Since Cranky is out adventuring, Funky could be manning the banana coin shop as well. Who knows! Either way it’s great to see him in action again. Who’s next? Candy or Swanky Kong?
