Exploration is a huge part ofsurvival games, andEnshroudedis no different, tasking players to search far and wide for all sorts of resources and completing quests to progress in the game. Yet, it will simply take players too long to just use their feet to check out the world, especially when there are dangerous heights to take note of.
That is where tools like the Glider come in. Such tools can help players navigate the world better simply by their function. For players looking to conquer the great heights found in the game, this guide onhow to craft the Glider inEnshroudedwill be exactly what you need.
Crafting the Glider in Enshrouded
Before getting your hands on a Glider, there is still somecrafting workto be done at your new home in Embervale. For starters, a Workbench has to be crafted first. This will requirethree Strings and eight Wood Logs. Using Plant Fibers to create Strings and chopping down trees to get Wood Logs, it isn’t that hard to gather these materials.
After placing down the Workbench, interact with it to find out just what you’ll need in order to get a Glider. The recipe calls foreight Shroud Wood, two Animal Furs, two Strings, andtwo Shroud Spores. Defeating Shroud enemies will see them drop Shroud Spores, so gather that when you are in the fog.
At the same time, Shroud Wood can be obtained from chopping down trees that are found in the Shroud. Lastly, for Animal Fur, hunt down wild animals using a bow, which should be easy enough to grab two. With the right ingredients, head back to the Workbench and begin crafting a Glider.
Using the Glider in Enshrouded
Be sure to equip the Glider in the Character screen; it is time to test its capabilities. All players have to do isjump off a platform or ledge and hit the jump button again. This will cause the Glider to deploy, allowing players to steer themselves in the air and prevent any fatal damage.
Obviously, gliding from a greater height allows players to cover a larger distance, so keep that in mind when you areexploring Embervale.
