The dunkleosteus is a prehistoric fish inDave the Diver. It’s covered in thick armor and can be difficult to deal with if you’ve never encountered it before. Here’s where to find the elusive dunkleosteus and how to take it down!
Where to find a Dunkleosteus
The dunkleosteus can be found in theHydrothermal Vents, an end-game zone at the bottom of the Glacial Area. You’ll need to progress the main story until you unlock the area.
In order to reach this depth, you’ll also need afully upgraded diving suit, which you can purchase on the iDiver app on your phone. It’s fairly expensive, but just keep selling sushi at yourrestaurantuntil you can afford it.
Once you reach the Hydrothermal Vents, a dunkleosteus will always spawntoward the bottom of the basin, usually on the left side. It looks like an enormous armored fish, and it is very aggressive.
How to kill the Dunkleosteus
Unlike other fish inDave the Diver, the dunkleosteus is covered in thick, armored scales. Guns, harpoons, and nets are unable to make a scratch if you try to take it head-on. There are two ways to deal with this pesky armor:
