Dash Juice, an age-old consumable in theMonster Hunterfranchise, makes its return inMonster Hunter Wilds. It’s useful. Very useful, and if you’re not crafting and using yourself, here’s how you right that wrong.

How to craft Dash Juice in Monster Hunter Wilds

Dash Juice is a consumable inMonster Hunter Wildsthat uniquely buffs your Stamina reserves, not by quantity, but with quality. When you consume Dash Juice, itrecovers a portion of your Staminaand also temporarily reducestotal stamina depletionwhen performing consuming actions, like dodging or sprinting.

Making Dash Juice requires two main ingredients, but nothing so out of left field that you should refrain from using it when necessary. They areCatalystandDash Extract. I will explain how you’re able to get both.

How to get Catalyst

Catalyst is created as the combined result ofBitterbugandHoney, both of which are resources you can very easily obtain while exploring. Bitterbug and Honey are ‘living’ resources, which makes the best place to find and harvest them theScarlet Forest. Here, you’ll find tons of both resources, which you’ll need to collect yourself if you’re just starting out. Bitterbug looks like ablue beetleon your area map, while Honey has the symbol of abrown honeycomb.

Ride over to each of these symbols and interact with the resources to obtain them in your Item Pouch. When you have at least one Bitterbug Broth (crafted automatically from Bitterbug) and one Honey, open yourCrafting Listand scroll over toentry nine. If it is filled with a bunch of question marks for you, it means you haven’t crafted Catalyst before. Nevertheless, click on the ????? prompt and confirm the craft to make your first one.

How to get Dash Extract

This material is a bit more difficult to come by, but I’ll explain where you’re able to find it. Dash Extract can be collected in two different ways, with one giving the player more agency. The easiest way is to pull it directly from the source, in this case, aGypceros.

Gypceros is ahigh-rank-onlymonster. Its Dash Extract is a fairly common quest reward from any Gypceros hunt, though this does mean it will take some time to amass this resource.

The second method is to get lucky throughNPC Trading. NPC Trading can be quite random at times, so this way may not always yield the Dash Extract you’re looking for. Nevertheless, it is an option.

Crafting Dash Juice

Once you have at least one Catalyst and one Dash Extract, you’re able to finally begin crafting the Dash Juice you crave. The process is very simple. Open your Crafting List and scroll over to entry number 18. Once again, if the name is in question marks, it means you have not crafted this item before. Like with the catalyst, click on the ‘?????’ and confirm the craft. Upon doing so, you’ll have made your very first Dash Juice consumable.

When should you use Dash Juice in Monster Hunter Wilds?

Dash Juice is useful for any hunter that consumes it, but it is especially useful depending on which weapon you’re using. Both theDual BladesandBowmake extensive use of Dash Juice, thanks to their very high Stamina requirements to perform at their best.

Dual Blade hunters are constantly moving around and entering Demon Mode to combat monsters. This is Stamina costly, which is why Dash Juice greatly eases the tension gained from trying to play Dual Blades without it.

Bow users constantly use Stamina by sliding around the environment and skipping portions of the weapon’s wind-ups in the process. This is incredibly valuable, but Stamina is expensive without Dash Juice active.

While both weapons can play without Dash Juice, I highlyadvise againstdoing so. It is a big quality-of-life helper for both, so don’t ignore this consumable if you’re playing either one of them.
