You’ll need the air dash

At some point inStar Wars Jedi: Survivor, you’ll likely butt heads withthe Bygone Settlement area. It comes up very early in the game, and through light exploration, you’ll quickly find out that not every nook and cranny of Koboh can be traversed without mid-to-late game upgrades. Once you’ve picked up the air dash you can safely head back to the Bygone Settlement and recruit Jawas to your cause. Here’s how to do that.

Air dash through the fan at the Bygone Settlement, and make it to the peak to find the Jawas

You can find the Bygone Settlement northeast of Rambler’s Reach (if your map is oriented like ours above, with Rambler’s Reach on the west). Make your way through the fan puzzle by air-dashing through, then circle around until you’ve made it to the top.We have a full Bygone Settlement puzzle walkthrough here.

Once you’re actually in the Sandcrawler, speak to the Jawa closest to the front door to recruit them. That’s it! You just need to talk to them once directly after meeting them, and you’ll have Jawa support back at your home base of operations. They’re one of the easiest people to recruit, as long as you have the requisite abilities.

We recommend generally just going through the story (at your own pace) to pick up all of the abilities needed to get everywhere you want to go: that way when you get an itch for exploration, you may actually follow through with it instead of awkwardly putting it on hold, and forgetting where you’ve been.
